Busy Week
Lots of things going on! Last Thursday we picked up Connie & Murrel and headed up to Pyramid Lake. Our boat has been out of the water since last year when the 4 of us were up at Pyramid. John cleaned up the boat, washed it and tidied up all the equipment. When you arrive you have to have an inspection to be sure you are not bringing anything in that would hurt the lake. Well one of the things they had us do was lift the motor and some water came out....they turned us around and would not let us on the lake! So much for cleaning your equipment before you go....
We went back down the mountain and over to Bakersfield's Lake Buena Vista. What a nice lake!
no problems with them and we had a great time. We have a new tube and took it out. Found out you have to put air in the bottom first....very rough ride... lake was great with only about 4 other boats on it.
