"Blogging For Dummies"

I got into town today, and forgot to check to see if the Book Store has the book "Blogging For Dummies". If they have one I'm getting in line to purchase the biggest one they have!
Went to the Fabric Store "Strawberry Patches" in Bakersfield and picked up more fabric for the "Strip Swap" for Feb. This swap is for brights and wow, do I have brights! I really like this fabric shop and would love to take some of their classes, living out in the Mountains makes the 1 1/2 hour drive to the shop just to far.

I have been working on cleaning up my sewing area and getting all my fabric organized. I took a couple of pictures.

Wonder why I got a Security Error on my picture..... I need that book!!

Tracks

Today we picked up the new back wheel tracks for the Ranger ATV. We have front ski's and with the tracks on the back we will be able to take it to the snow. After getting them home we discovered they did not include the instructions. Came from Canada and what we did get was all in French...

Shoot Out

We had some friends over today and tried out several guns on some new targets. Myself I think someone moves the target when it's my time to shoot.

I'm working on Kiting some luggage tags for gifts and a new set for me. See my last post. I'm going to try and put some kind link to the patterns. The first link is for the Suitcase Wrap. Only thing is in step 2 backing fabric should be face-up and main fabric face-down. I may not had put mine together correctly but this worked.

Will put up link when I figure out how to do it.

Woops

Somehow I managed to publish a blank post. I have been trying to add a picture to a post, but after I pick the picture, the circle just keeps going around.

This Thursday is Shirley N's birthday. Its also our bunco night so I'm baking her a cake and finished a gift for her. I made a luggage tag, handle cover to better help find the bag, and a snap purse.

Still trying to figure out how to use this... Spent most of the day trying to do a craft project from Pleasant Home but am having trouble the size of the nut on the bottom of the plate.
   I took some pictures of my attempt to originize my sewing space. Still needs work. Am going to try and post a photo.  Well that didn't work. Will try again in am

First Post

When I decided to try a blog the instructions said it was easy and you would be up and running in no time. Well, I'm LOST.

I spent most of the day today trying to sort and organize my quilting and crafts. After picking up one thing and then another and just moving them again.... I got busy. I have most of my fabric where I want it and hopefully where I can find it. I never realized how many projects I had started and then put away only to start something else.

This year I'm going to figure out how to set up a blog and finish my UFO's, well at least finish some. I belong to Stashbusters and 25 weeks. With the help of these two groups, I hope to only use my fabric stash and be ready for Christmas this year.  I have started a Journal to list gift ideas and list the order of things I want to finish.

I wonder where this blog will end up.
